About The Artist

Artist Janah James is inspired by the macro and microcosms of the world around us. Pulling from a diverse and ecclectic exposure to colour, as well as concepts and philosophies from her upbringing in South East Asia, she uses local Adelaide hills terracotta alongside other earthen and stoneware clays to hand build and wheel throw organic inspired sculptures and vessels celebrating the human experience of earth.

She also uses watercolours, acrylics, ink and photography to communicate her expansive themes of abundance, creative energy, love, strength, nature, bliss and joy.
